1. Battery won't charge
The #1 cause across every ebike. On Rad Power specifically: Rad batteries use a proprietary connector — always use the genuine Rad charger. Most "won't charge" cases on Rad ebikes are a blown charger, not the pack.

2. Range suddenly dropped
Rad cells age at normal rates but the BMS calibration drifts. Do a full charge-discharge-charge cycle to re-calibrate.
3. Motor cuts out mid-ride
Geared hub motors like the Rad Power's can overheat on long hills. Cool-down window is usually 5-10 minutes. Also check motor phase connector — vibration works it loose.
4. Display error codes

5. Throttle not responding
UK Class 1 pedelecs (most Rad Powers sold in UK) restrict throttle to walk-assist (6 km/h). If throttle worked before and doesn't now, check the Rad killswitch isn't engaged.
6. Pedal assist won't engage
Rad uses a cadence PAS ring on the bottom bracket. Magnet ring can slide — check 2-3mm gap to sensor.
